While in Nigeria Davido developed a strong interest and passion for music and decided to give it a go despite the fact that he was from a wealthy family, he never allowed it to deter his passion for what he wanted and believed in as he kept his focus.

In 2011, he started working on his album Omo Baba Olowo, which consisted of a mixture of afro-beats and hip hop.

Davido eventually rose to fame after releasing “Dami Duro”, the second single from his debut studio album Omo Baba Olowo in 2012.

It is easier for many people to claim that his family’s wealth played a significant role in his musical career but they forget quickly the time, energy, hardwork, training and focus involved in order to be this good as to gain so much accolades and acceptance.
