Nigeria, a country full of multiple talents, divergent skills, wonderful intelligence and creative mindsets, keeps giving a good representation of themselves in every aspect of life that they genuinely decide to excel in.
Recently, a Nigerian who hails from Anambra State, Mrs Pearlena Igbokwe, added a feather to her cap of success as she was recently appointed the chairperson of the Universal Studio Group.
Mrs Pearlana becomes the first woman of African decent as well as the first Nigerian to achieve such a feat of being named the head of a major American television studio.
The Universal Studio Group is made up of Universal Television, Universal Content Production (UCP), National Broadcasting Company (NBC), and Universal International Studios.
Pearlena Igbokwe has been in show business for more than twenty years and had been involved in developing a variety of hit series before deciding to join NBC Universal.
Until her recent appointment, Mrs Igbokwe was the President of Universal Television where she led her team to hit a record production volume recently.
Reacting to the news of this well deserved accolade some Nigerians took to their social media platforms to acknowledge this remarkeable achievement.
