According to the Express, the model is “devastated” over the allegations of abuse against her dad by his alleged victims so close to the tenth anniversary of his death.

But Paris hit back at the reports, taking to Instagram on January 16 posting a caption alongside a picture of her dog Gabriel: “The media is exaggerating as per usual.

“Yes I’ve taken a break from work and social media and my phone because it can be too much sometimes, and everyone deserves a break, but I am happy and healthy and feeling better than ever!”

The model had previously spoken about her battle with depression and revealed that she attempted to commit suicide when she was 15.

Speaking to Rolling Stone magazine a couple of years ago, Paris told them that she had been “cutting herself” and was hiding it from her family.

She said this, “was just self-hatred, low self-esteem, thinking that I couldn’t do anything right, not thinking I was worthy of living anymore.”
