Nigeria Pop Artiste David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has won the BET (Black Entertainment Television) Awards as “Best International Act.”
Davido beat other African acts like Tiwa Savage, Cassper Nyovest (South Africa), Stormzy (UK), Fally Ipupa (DR Congo), and others to win the award.
In his acceptance speech, the obviously excited singer paid condolences to Dbanj who lost his son same night. He also thanked the award organisers and his fans for the award.
The BET Awards celebrates Black achievements and honours music, entertainment sports, television, and movies. The 18th ceremony, hosted by Jamie Foxx, took place on Sunday at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles.
Davido also won the award in 2014.
