Popular musician and record label boss, Afeez Fashola, better known as Naira Marley has triggered a frenzy online with his recent post which came barely 24 hours after his former signee, Mohbad was led to rest.

Amid the heavy backlash, Naira Marley apparently avoided posting on his Instagram page and subsequently opted for his Snapchat handle.

He shared a video of himself vibing to a recent song of his, appearing unperturbed about the death of Mohbad and the heavy criticisms directed at him.

This post comes after Naira Marley took to his Instagram story to share an emoji of a broken heart hours after Mohbad’s passing.

With the recent development, Naira Marley appears to have moved on immediately.

In other news, The Nigeria Police Force has debunked the viral reports alleging the arrest of the renowned singer, Naira Marley, and socialite, Sam Larry, in connection with the tragic passing of the 27-year-old singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.

The shocking revelation comes amidst a wave of fervent support from fans of Naira Marley and Sam Larry, who have been demanding justice for the late Mohbad amid suspicions of a possible homicide case.

In a statement released by Oluniyi Ogundeyi, the spokesperson for the Lagos Annex of the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) in Zone 2, Alagbon, the police categorically refuted the claims of the arrest of Naira Marley and Sam Larry.

“The report is false; it is a lie; no one has been arrested. The police did not arrest Naira Marley or Sam Larry,” Oluniyi told Punch on Thursday night.
