The Nigerian Community in Angola held its annual get together on Saturday November 13th, 2022 in Luanda Angola. The ceremony featured the unveiling of the planned NICCA building and laying of the foundation stone and  honoring of  the founding President- Mr. Chidebe “Chaze” Aham Nze
The following is the acceptance speech read by Mr. Peter Mukoro, the then Publicity Secretary of the association on behalf of Mr. Nze “The Executive President of the Nigerian Community Association, members of the Executive Committee, Her Excellency, Professor Monique O. Ekpong, The Ambassador of the Nigerian to Angola  the Organizing Committee and fellow Nigerians, I am so overjoyed to see you all uphold the legacy and foundation we laid many years ago. I have carefully noticed how dedicated and committed you have been in working tirelessly to have a formidable Association.
Congratulations. Please my earnest advice to you is this, “Always focus on utilizing the authority available to you to lift up authentic members and Nigerians in general and not suppress them. Always strive to be a servant and that is precisely how great leaders succeed” So honored to be recognized for this precious award and all I have to say is Thank You and God bless you All. Long live Nigeria! ; from your first and Ex-President Chaze Chidebe Nze..
The occasion was also attended by the Nigerian Ambassador to Angola Her Excellency, Professor Monique O. Ekpong and a large section of the Nigerian community in Angola.

The event featured festivities and cultural displays from all parts of Nigeria.
