Social media personality Amodu Elizabeth Aminata, popularly known as Jarvis, has appealed to Oba Ewuare II for forgiveness following the controversy involving her partner, Habeeb Hamzat Adelaja, also called Peller.

Her appeal comes after backlash over Peller’s unauthorised visit to the Benin Royal Palace.

Jarvis made the appeal during a live social media session, where she expressed regret and asked for mercy.

She also raised concerns about how the situation could affect her personal life, especially her plans to marry.

“I don’t want to be single to stupor… please forgive him. I want to get married; I want my bride price paid without fear. Please have mercy on us.”

Tribune online reports that the issue follows actions by the Benin Traditional Council, which had earlier summoned Peller over the incident that took place on March 6, 2026.

The council described the visit as a breach of palace rules and tradition.

As part of the response, the council disciplined some individuals within the palace. A chief was suspended, and other members of the royal household received sanctions for their roles in granting unauthorised access.

Peller has also been asked to appear before the council and submit a written apology, as authorities continue efforts to address the matter and maintain order within the palace.

Peller reacted to the claim during a recent live stream, insisting that he was not directly responsible for the incident, and he only acted on the instructions of his manager and was unaware that his visitation violated any rules.
