Nwanyi Manaria Ibeya Na Elu Uwa (Miss Igbo Universe)
As part of the continuing efforts by Igbos in the Diaspora to save Igbo Language and Culture a new Igbo Pageant has been introduced.The new “Nwanyimanaria Ibeya na elu uwa” (Miss Igbo Universe Pageant) will be staged at the Holiday Inn Express Atlanta Airport on October 26, 2019 from 5pm to 1am (See enclosed Flyer for details)
Among some of the duties of the winners of the Pageant includes travelling to different Igbo events and speaking to the issue of the demise of Igbo Language and Culture, encouraging Igbos to teach their children Igbo Language and to speak in Igbo Language all the time when communicating with their fellow Igbo brothers and sisters.
Several Igbo Organizations have joined hands to make this project a reality, including Africa Business World of Atlanta Ga, Pink Lady Fashions/African Outfit Runway Fashions of Washington DC and Life and Times Media Group of Los Angeles California.
The Miss Igbo Universe Group is appealing to successful Igbo Businesses across the world to support this new effort through Sponsorship. Levels of sponsorship packages would soon be released soon. Also an event Brochure will be produced it will be the “who is who” of Igbo business worldwide a perfect place to showcase your business and services.
