Fuze Festival: Nigerian Youths to Smile Home with N32m Today

As a way of helping Nigerian youths to maximize their potentials and making their dreams and aspirations come true, the Stanbic Pension Managers, a subsidiary of Stanbic IBTC Holdings, has mapped out the sum of N32 million to be won by teeming talents presently showcasing their capacities at the ongoing Fuze Festival in Lagos State.

Speaking, at a press briefing held at its Blue Academy in Lagos recently, the Chief Executive Officer of the Pension Managers, Olumide Oyetan, stated that the best talents drawn from the categories of Music, fashion industry, Tech and Dance categories, who are presently carrying out their different displays at the Fuze Festival being held at the Livespot Entertainment Centre in Lagos would benefit greatly after a thorough selective process by the renowned panel of judges.

He stressed that the Fuze Festival was free and was planned with the objective of recognizing young people with potentials and great talent, who lacked the financial support needed to bankroll their talents and make a living out of it. He added that he aimed to make such people independent and job creators.

The likes of Teni, Ladipoe, Wurld and some other big shots in the music industry will be present to perform at the event and to thrill the audience with great performances.

He maintained that the organization was all for commitment towards the promotion of economic empowerment for the development of the youths in the country.

His words: ‘Stanbic IBTC Pension Managers celebrates indigenous talents and helps them explore their creativity and business prowess. The FUZE Festival presents a unique opportunity to reward and support young talented Nigerians from across the country through the talent hunt, while also providing enhancement opportunities for businesses who would be given free stalls to exhibit their wares and produce at the event.’

According to him, the organization has done so much for many Nigerians across the country as a responsible financial institution as its Corporate Social Investment (CSI), where they invest in people in order to assist them in exploring their God-given potential for onward creation of value.

Hear him: ‘We are privileged to have what it takes to lift people out of poverty and we shall not hesitate to do that. We’re are looking at where superstars from these categories would emerge. We believe these sectors will boom in nearest future. So as a responsible organisation, we are always in the lookout to discover, develop and support talents’.

On her part, the Executive Director, Business Development of the Pension Managers, Nike Bajomo stated that she was hopeful that young Nigerians would find great opportunities and rewards at the Fuze Festival. She stated clearly that the first prize winner for each category will go home with N5 million, the second prize winner for each category will go home with N2m, while the third prize for each category stands at N1 million.

She affirmed that there was a pre-screening process before the grand finale of the Fuze Festival, where growing stars in the aforementioned categories nationwide submitted entries and pre-festival performances for a talent hunt.
