Following his win, Davido’s father, Adedeji Adeleke, hosted a victory party for his brother.
In a video captured online, the billionaire businessman was seen with his brother and elder sister, Modupe, as they celebrated Ademola’s victory.
After his re-election, Ademola Adeleke thanked his elder sister, Modupe, by prostrating before her for her support.
In an interview, Davido credited his father as his role model for how to raise his kids from different mothers. He applauded his father for raising him and his half-siblings well and expressed how he looks up to him in raising his five kids with different mothers.
Earlier this year, Davido had appreciated his father for clearing the air on his paternity saga with Anu Adeleke.
Last year, the famous singer revealed that his father bought his third private jet.
In 2024, Davido applauded his father as he set out to build a new power plant in Nigeria. The singer expressed pride in his father as he called him ‘His Hero’.
Back in 2023, Davido had recounted how his father once used his power to hinder his progress in the music industry because he wanted him to graduate first before pursuing his career ambition.
His cousin, B-Red had also narrated how he sold 20TVs from the singer’s father’s house to raise money. He narrated how Don Jazzy had offered to help them with a condition, which led them to sell out Davido’s father’s Televisions in a desperate attempt to raise money.
