Nigerian streamer and comedian Carter Efe has jokingly complained about the financial demands of dating his new American girlfriend, Jasmine, saying he could go broke if things continued at the current rate for another three months.
In a video making the rounds on social media, the entertainer was spotted at the airport with Jasmine as he prepared to see her off. Carter Efe was seen carrying her bag while making humorous remarks about the demands of their relationship.
Comparing American women with Nigerian women, the comedian claimed that American women have expensive tastes, adding that he might struggle financially if he continued spending at the same pace.
“American girls are wiser than Nigerian girls, their taste is high. If I continue like this for three months, I go broke oo, na why I follow am come airport make she dey go,” he stated.
Carter Efe also expressed frustration over how frequently he had been carrying bags, joking that people would find it surprising to see him performing such a task for a woman.
“Make she leave abeg, una know how many times I don carry bag, I don carry bag tire. I’m sure most of you will be shocked that Carter Efe is carrying a woman’s bag,” he added.
The comedian further suggested that he was ready to return to being single, as he humorously expressed his desire to step away from the relationship.
“Me I won enter my single life back oo,” he concluded.
