Abdulaziz, Rahman Both Make it to President Bola Tinubu’s Appointment List

Three weeks after unveiling the last set of major appointments in the new administration, a new list of appointments, which include those of Senior Special Assistants (SSAs), Personal Assistants (PA), photographers and a health physician, has been unveiled, Tuesday, with veteran journalist Tunde Rahman and Abdulaziz Abdulaziz, making it to President Bola Tinubu’s appointments list.

The number of aides in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s appointment list, this time, numbered 20, as Sunday Rahman, who was a media aide and Chief of Staff to Tinubu, was appointed as a Senior Special Assistant on media. Before then, he was a Political Editor of the Daily Times before moving to The Punch Newspaper,  where he was the Abuja Bureau Chief and later, Group News Editor at its headquarters in Lagos. He eventually moved to ThisDay Newspaper where he served in several editorial capacities. Just recently, he bagged an MBA from the University of Leicester, United Kingdom.

On his part, Kano State-born Abdulaziz Abdulaziz used to work with Leadership, Blueprint, Premium Times and recently,  Daily Trust, from where he was listed to join the media team of the APC/Tinubu Campaign Organization. He was media aide  to the current National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, as a Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

This current list of appointees would be the third to be announced since the inauguration of President Bola Tinubu.  Recall that he appointed on June 2nd, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation,  the Chief of Staff and Deputy Chief of Staff, while he announced the appointment of eight advisers, which included Dele Alake, Special Adviser on Special Duties, Communications and Strategy, as well as Wale Edun, as Special Adviser on Monetary Policies.

He appointed the National Security Adviser,  Inspector-General of Police,  Service Chiefs and others on June 15, while also, setting up a committee on tax reforms, headed by Fiscal Policy Partner and Africa Tax Leader at PriceWaterHouseCoopers (PWC), Taiwo Oyedele.

7. Demola Oshodi – Senior Special Assistant (Protocol)

8. Tope Ajayi – Senior Special Assistant (Media & Public Affairs)

9. Yetunde Sekoni – Senior Special Assistant

10. Motunrayo Jinadu – Senior Special Assistant

11. Segun Dada – Special Assistant (Social Media)

12. Paul Adekanye – Special Assistant (Logistics)

13. Friday Soton – Special Assistant (Housekeeping)
