Labour leaders converge on NLC HQ as Ajaero honours Police invitation on alleged terrorism financing today

Labour leaders have converged on the headquarters of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) in solidarity with the President of the NLC, Comrade Joe Ajaero, who has been invited by the Police Force on allegations of terrorism financing.

Ajaero is expected to visit the Police facility by 10:am today.

As early as 8:am, the Labour leaders started converging on the NLC HQ to rally support for the number worker in the country.

They are expected to lead a peaceful procession to the police facility where Ajaero will be interrogated in respect to allegations of terrorism financing, cybercrime, subversion, criminal conspiracy, and treasonable felony.

There is heavy presence of police operatives stationed few meters away from the NLC facility to maintain law and order.
