On Saturday, November 12, 2022, African Professional Connect USA launched its Networking platform, an interactive, real-time problem-solving platform for African Professionals to share great ideas and bridge knowledge gaps.

In attendance were African Professionals from different industries and States across the US, including Sales, Agriculture, Education, Engineering , Legal, Art & entertainment, Healthcare, Business & Administration, and Hospitality among others. Participants were actively engaged in a TED style talk dialogue.

They connected and networked with other professionals, and also benefited from hearing and learning from successful and
accomplished professionals from diverse industries. “Why waste many years making the same mistakes those that have gone before us have made, when we can quickly learn from them”.

AP Connect USA was founded by Ms. Nkechi Anyanwu, MPH, CPHQ (Health Systems Analyst) alongside her founding partners; Lucy Osoro (General Manager), and Francis Dibia (Math Curriculum Specialist). Their overarching goal is to provide quality professional networking opportunities; to build strategic relationships, and also to address common challenges and concerns faced by African professionals. Including the need for
sustained career and economic advancement for African Professionals in the US, and a strong desire to participate in creating more opportunities in Africa and the continent's growth.

Membership to African Professionals Connect USA is based on a referral system. The organization is intentional in its membership selection process and seeks genuine, sincere and trustworthy professionals to associate and build lifelong memories of relationships and partnerships. Members would have the opportunity to participate in various activities such as lifestyle/entertainment, professional development, and networking that  allow synergy in various ways. Also, members would have the opportunity to be matched based on professional experience and need as either a mentor, or a mentee, and for collaboration as identified by an AP Connect matching model .

AP Connect is committed to showcasing the breadth and depth of professional expertise and experience within
