Lagosians Troop Out En Masse For Sound Sultan’s Candlelight Service (Video)

UPDATED: Sound Sultan, Nigerian musician, is dead | Premium Times NigeriaNigerian entertainers and fans in Lagos State of Nigeria massively turned out for the candlelight procession held for late singer Olanrewaju Abdul-Ganiu Fasasi, popularly known as Sound Sultan.

The candle light service was staged on Sunday night, July 18, 2021, at Festac town in Lagos State.

WithinNigeria gathered that musicians Jaywon, Adewale Ayuba amongst others were spotted at the venue.

Sound Sultan’s fans were seen wearing a black t-shirt that has his faced embellished on them while they all lighted candles and waved balloons to honour the deceased.

WithinNigeria had reported that the 44-year-old icon died from lymphoma. He was buried according to Islamic rites at the Marlboro Muslim Cemetery in New Jersey, USA.
