At least fifty people are reported to have died after twin explosions rocked Jos, the Plateau state capital last night, Sunday, July 5.
The first explosion occurred at Bauchi road, just before the University of Jos main campus, while the second explosion occurred around Yantaya, Nasarawa Gwon area, both in Jos North local government area of the state.
The explosions occurred in a mosque and a restaurant.
Tafsir, an Islamic sermon session, was being conducted in the mosque at the time of the second explosion,
The twin explosions occurred just hours after a suicide bomber killed himself and 6 people at a local branch of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Potiskum, Yobe state.
