The operatives who are armed to the teeth were seen condoning visitors at the entrance of the prison under heavy rain.
Meanwhile, only Kanu’s brother and his lawyer were allowed into the main facility to present papers to the prison’s in charge for his release.
Recall that NAIJ.com earlier reported a Federal High Court judge has signed the bail papers for the leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu.
NAIJ.com also learnt that Justice Nyako signed the papers on Friday afternoon, April 28, after all the conditions given to the IPOB leader for his bail was met.
Three sureties including a Jewish Rabbi and Senator Enyinnaya Abaraibe, vouched to stand in and ensure the IPOB appears for trial at all times.
Members of Nnamdi Kanu’s family, his lawyers and sureties are currently heading to Kuje Prison to pick him up.
The group in a convoy of over 10 cars, left the Federal High Court in Abuja after the bail conditions were perfected.
