The musician and actor who came second in the National Assembly election for his constituency, Eti-Osa federal constituency, said not winning the election is not the end for him, as he looks forward to 2023.
Banky, who had hoped to represent his people at the House of Representatives, on the platform of the Modern Democratic Party, MDP, lost to the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Babajide Obanikoro.
After the results were announced, Banky shared an inspiring video where he explained that his loss just marked the beginning of a journey into Nigeria’s murky waters of politics.
“The End? No. The Beginning. #MDP #StrongerTogether #BankOnBanky” he said.
