Successful On Air Personality and Instagram sensation, Chinedu Ani Emmanuel, popularly known as Nedu Wazobia has finally reacted to the accusations bordering on domestic violence and abuse levelled against him by his estranged wife, Uzoamaka Ohiri.
Ms Ohiri had gone online to accuse Nedu of domestic violence during their five-year marriage. According to her, he physically battered her a few weeks after she put to bed through a Cesarean section. She also made pointed accusations about Nedu, not catering for their three children.
She openly poured out these accusations, while wondering why WAZOBIA FM still had him under their employ, especially as he still hosts marriage talks and even shows on radio.
In reaction, Nedu denied all the allegations she leveled against him. He made it clear that he has never been one to indulge in domestic violence in any form, how much more, encourage it.
While making these explanations on his Instagram account, Saturday Nedu explained that he had never abused her like she claimed how much more beat her to stupor.
He went on to show his disappointment at the extent his ex-wife had to go, just to get back at him, saying that his marriage to her was tumultuous, but that the major crisis that he had to put up with remained the problem of infidelity.
He said that it got so bad that he had no choice than to conduct a paternity test on their children. All hell was let loose when the DNA test results confirmed that his first son was not his biological child even though she gave birth to him at the time they got married. He added that her endless infidelity was so bad that he was left with no choice than to toe that part.
Still speaking on her strong claims to being physically battered by him, he maintained that it is a matter that has been investigated on two different occasions. The first time, he said, was at the Ajah Police Station, while the second time was by a competent court of law when their marriage was dissolved.
According to him, he was proven innocent on all counts of domestic violence by these two different bodies, saying that he had every proof needed to back up his claims and insisted that if there was anyone who should cry out to being abused domestically, it would be him and not Uzoamaka.
He expressed his pain at the fact that she had to choose the internet of all places to wash their dirty linen, especially as it concerned their children because in his exact words, ‘the internet never forgets’, explaining that the children will one day grow up to deal with all that mess she created.
He advised her to do the right thing by going to any court of competent jurisdiction to seek justice if she felt she had issues to sort out with him instead of the shameless show of smearing their names on social media.
He confirmed that he had since put the unfortunate incidents surrounding the final dissolution of their marriage behind them, heartbreaking as it is and mainly had to give his reaction to her allegations just to clear the air once and for all.
According to him he had moved on and prefers to mind his business as an OAP doing what he knows how to do best.
Recall that Nedu already earlier posted a copy of the DNA test conducted by a forensic laboratory, Viaguard Accu-metrics, located in Toronto, Canada which clearly revealed that the first son was not biologically his son.
This was not denied by his ex-wife who admitted that she didn’t know that their first son was not sired by Nedu, claiming that if she knew, she wouldn’t have married him as she couldn’t have deliberately given another person’s son to him.
Their Union produced three children.
