El-Rufai: “Kaduna Church assault is the most terrifying sort of Evil.”

The state governor of Kaduna Nasir el-Rufai has referred to the recent terrorist attacks on the church in the state as “the worst form of Evil Abomination carried out by these insurgents.”
It was earlier gathered by media outlets that unrecognized armed men stormed the Haske Baptist Church in Chikun LGA of the state in the early hours of Sunday morning while members were busy worshipping. They were reported to have assassinated a parishioner and abducted several members of the same congregation.
El Rufai reacting to the ugly incident has come out openly to disparage and vehemently condemned the nefarious activities carried out on innocent church members, as unacceptable and a terrible sin.
Many other notable personalities have also lent their voices in criticizing these despicable acts of continuous attacks and incessant killings, which has now gotten out of control as it seems, to be an evil trend that has ravaged the federation, and that many citizens have come to leave in fear with regards to their daily lives activities.
There was also the case of a resident around the vicinity, whose name was given as Mr. Shehu Manika, and was said to have been seriously injured during the confrontation and pandemonium that ensued, as a result of the crossfire between bandits and officials of the law.
Meanwhile, the commissioner for internal security, Samuel Aruwan, speaking to the press, revealed that the state governor referred to the Church invasion as evil in its guiltiest form.
“Governor Nasir El-Rufai roundly denounced the attack on the church in Chikun LGA as a shocking act of depraved persons far-removed from humanity,”
“The Governor added that attacking innocent worshipers who were exercising their natural and lawful right to assemble in worship, represented the worst kind of evil.
“The Governor sent heartfelt condolences to the families of the deceased and the Haske Baptist Church.”
Moreover, in another development, there was a report of an incident involving the discovery of a body belonging to one Abubakar Sarki Musa, a seven-year-old, who was found at Hayin Danmani area, Rigasa, Igabi LGA, of Kaduna state.
Commenting on these social anomalies, Aruwan, the state commissioner, disclosed that investigations pointed out that one Saddique Umar, an 18-year-old inhabitant of the neighborhood, admitted guilt to killing the seven-year-old, “after luring the boy into the deserted building in a bid to steal a phone placed in his possession”.
There was also the reported incident of an invasion by armed men on Bagoma village in Birnin Gwari LGA, six residents were said to have been killed.
Remarking on the series of ugly incidents, within the state, Aruwan divulged that “the state government had prayed for the peaceful repose of the souls of the slain victims in all the attacks”, and also wished the injured residents quick healing.
As for the perpetrators of these dastardly acts the state’s administration has vowed that they will work relentlessly and do all within their powers to bring them to justice and answer for all their atrocities and crimes against human dignity, including that of the destruction of properties belonging to state and individuals.
