Nollywood actor Afeez Oyetoro, better known as Saka, has shared his experience working with colleague Femi Adebayo.
In an interview with African A-List, he said he started working with Femi when he was still paying N30,000, and now he pays him millions and gives him more jobs.
He described the actor and producer as fantastic, hardworking and honest, saying he is a workaholic and he knows what he’s doing.
Saka also said he has a good relationship with Femi’s age group, including Odunlade Adekola, Ibrahim Chatta, and others.
“Femi Adebayo is a fantastic, very hardworking, honest young man. I’ve been working with him for a while; he used to pay me N30,000, and he gives me jobs and pays me millions.
He’s a workaholic, and he knows what he’s doing. You see Femi categories: Odunlade Adekola, Ibrahim Chatta, and co; they are very good, and my relationship with them is very good too”.
In a previous interview, Saka praised Funke Akindele as he opened up on his working relationship with her. He said she treated him well on set, is humble and doesn’t tolerate nonsense.
Addressing those who say the actress is strict, Oyetoro said he likes it that way, as one can’t handle a multimillion naira project without being strict. He made it clear that the actress doesn’t have a bad temper and doesn’t play with work or entertain jokes. He warned anyone who is lazy not to work with her, as she doesn’t like laziness.
While speaking to Chude Jideonwo, the comic actor shared how the woman he once wanted to marry insisted he had two cars, which led to their breakup.
He reflected on how one MTN advert changed everything and took him from that funny man to a national icon.
Speaking on his hair loss, he said he lost his hair not to age, but to a theatre role in University. He also addressed rumours that he is a sub, letting people know that once he leaves the stage or camera, he isn’t the same Afeez, as he is a little reserved.
Years ago, the Yoruba actor and his wife, Saidat Olaide, celebrated their 15th wedding anniversary. The popular actor recounted his ordeal with women, including his wife, before he got married.
In a past interview with Punch, Afeez revealed that his biggest triumph was overcoming temptation from some of his numerous female admirers. He recalled how, in 2016, some women tried to seduce him, but he was able to resist them.
He also swore that since he got married, he has never had an extramarital affair, as it isn’t in his character to chase women around.
