The identities of three daredevil terrorists commanders neutralised in Borno State on Wednesday have been revealed.

DAILY POST recalls that troops of the Nigerian Army in the early hours of Wednesday killed about 80 members of Boko Haram and ISWAP terror groups including their commanders.

The military authorities said the insurgents were advancing from the Duguri general area on foot, supported by multiple armed drones, in a bid to breach the 68 Battalion Main Defensive Area.

The terrorists, however, met their ends when the troops engaged them in a fierce gun fire.

Security sources familiar with the development identified the terrorist commanders killed as one Abdulrahman Gobara, Mallam Ba Yuram, and Abou Ayyuba.

Sources said the late terrorist leaders led the foiled deadly attack.

Other known fighters killed during the operation include, Zarkawi, Ba Bunu, Rawa Fannami, Abowor Suwurti, Bulama Mil, Abu Aisha, Suleimana, Abu Rijal, Abu Ali and others.
