WHEN HEARTS TOUCH is a picture book written in 2023, adapted into a screenplay for a 3D animation, produced, directed, and executive-produced by Nkem DenChukwu, and co-executive-produced by Emmanuel & Cynthia Igboin, and Chukwudera V. Ijomah.
When Hearts Touch is a soulful, faith-based, adventure story about a 9-year-old orphan boy who remains determined to survive while struggling through the pains of grief, poverty, and loneliness.
When Hearts Touch screened in New Orleans at the 2023 and 2024 Essence Festival, won Best Animation at the 2023 AFRIFF – African International Film Festival Globe Awards in Lagos, and a finalist at the 2023 New York Animation Festival.
