Late Dagrin, who died More than a decade ago included in list of wanted criminals in Sierra LeoneMore than a decade after his passing, Nigerian rapper, Oladapo Olaitan Olaonipekun, better known as Dagrin, has been included in a list of criminals wanted in Sierra Leone.

The Sierra Leonean police reportedly released a poster which showed the list of wanted criminals and it included a photograph of the late artiste.

It has been causing a stir on social media mainly because the rap artiste known as Dagrin died in 2010.

A Twitter user @Jeen_Yous who resides in Sierra Leone, shared the poster on the micro-blogging platform.

”The Sierra Leone Police release Pictures of wanted people who were part of the violence protest last week and late Nigerian rapper Dagrin is one of them.

This country will always amaze me,” the tweet reads.

When another tweep stated that it could be a case of a doppelgänger, @Jeen_Yous presented a reverse search image showing Dagrin holding a gun in an online article.

Meanwhile, Nigerian R&B singer, Chuddy K says that late rapper, Dagrin’s name has saved him from troubled situations on countless occasions years after his demise.

The artiste made this known while appearing as a guest on Jahbless Original Intelligence podcast.

Dagrin died in April 2010 after crashing his car into a stationary trailer in front of Alakara Police Station.

According to Chuddy K, there was a time his tyre burst on third Mainland bridge late at night while going for a show and some hoodlums accosted him.

He said that they tried to inflict harm on him but it was when he mentioned who he was that they recalled his affiliation with DaGrin.

The ‘Gaga Crazy’ crooner recounted how he performed his hit song for the thugs who were armed with guns and knives, before they let him go for his show.
