It was an upscale and classy gathering of all Anambra people, their friends and well wishers from all over Southern California and beyond at the 2016 end of year/Christmas party. The occasion, a joint affair of the Anambra State Association (ASA-SC) and Anambra State Women’s Association of Southern California (ASWA-SC) featured- gifts to the children by Santa, face painting for the children, a sumptuous dinner and the latest Nigerian jams by Deejay Iyke. Highlight of the occasion was a “Community Service Award” to Dr. Nwachukwu Anakwenze- the founding President of the Anambra State Association of Southern California- for his sterling services to Ndi Anambra in Southern California and beyond
