The Showbiz world and indeed, entertainment lovers are in for another exciting and suspenseful time as the BBNaija Season 7 audition kicks off to usher in the next set of housemates in the Big Brother Show.
The announcement was made via a post on BBNaija’s verified Instagram page on Sunday.
It read: ‘Biggie is calling you back home. #BBNaija Season 7 auditions are officially open.’
‘Are you the next Efe, Miracle, Mercy, Laycon or Whiteminey? This is your time to show Biggie what you’re all about.’
Recall that the very first season of the BB Naija reality show was aired in 2006 and the winner was a Scriptwriter and Production Assistant, Katung Aduwak, who coasted home with the grand prize of hundred thousand dollars, $100,000.
Eleven years after that, the BB Naija Season 2, themed ‘See Gobe’ kicked off in January 22, 2017. The show ended with Delta State-born rapper, Efe Ejeba cruising home with the grand prize of N25m.
Season 3, which was themed ‘Double Wahala’, followed in 2018. The lucky winner who is a pilot, Miracle Igbokwe won the star prize of N25m. Apart from that, she coasted home with a brand new Hyundai Tucson SUV, a trip for two to an exotic location, home appliances valued at N3m, and a year’s supply of Pepsi and Aquafina water.
This was followed by the fourth season in 2019 which was tagged ‘Pepper Dem’. The lucky winner was Mercy Eke. She’s an entrepreneur and video vixen who took home the grand prize of N30m, an Innoson SUV valued at N25m, a trip to Dubai and many other mouth-watering prizes.
In spite of the COVID-19 scourge, the fifth edition of the BBNaija show was held successfully in 2020. It was tagged the ‘Lockdown Edition’. This time a graduate of the University of Lagos who is also a rapper, Olamilekan Agbeleshe, popularly known as ‘Laycon’ came tops and sailed home with N30m, a two-bedroom apartment, an Innoson Motors SUV rated at N30m, a trip to Dublin, Ireland and other prizes.
The Sixth Season which was held in 2021 was won by Hazel Oyeze, also known as ‘Whitemoney’. He surfed home with cash and prizes worth a total of N90m.
Presently, the organizers of the BBNaija Season 7 auditions have posted a video across its social media handles, informing intending participants of the 7th season of the BB Naija show to log on to africamagic.tv/bbaudition and upload a 3-minute video explaining why they want to be on the show.

1. Log on to the audition website by clicking on this link and follow the instructions.
2. Create a profile on the site by filling in the form.
3. Upload a three-minute video explaining why you should be chosen, including who you are, how you grew up, likes, dislikes, and unique things about you.
4. Finish by submitting your video.
They further stated that the audition was free and would commence May 15th and end May 30.
