Nollywood actress, Sola Sobowale graced a program on Channels TV titled “Rubbin’ Minds”, and she shared her journey in the move industry.
The international women’s day was on Sunday and an edition of the show was solely dedicated to mark the auspicious day.
Speaking in a chat with Zimbabwean television personality and reality star, Vimbai Mutinhiri, the Nollywood actress talked about how she has been able to sustain her career in Nollywood for 20 years.
The actress also revealed her father wanted her to become a teacher and she travelled outside of the country after the release of ‘Toyin Tomato’ to give her children a better life and education.
In the 20 mins 36 secs video on YouTube, the actress also talked about her role in the award-winning “King of Boys“ and also explained the reason women need to be involved and represented more in the society.
The actress also got in her feelings as she said ‘Nigeria is a dumping ground and we are fake’ and she gets worried when children cannot speak their mother tongues.
