Nigerian music producer and Rapper, JJC Skillz, has revealed why he celebrated his estranged wife actress Funke Akindele on her 45th birthday despite their separation.
JJC became a topic of discussion online after he surprised Funke with a heartwarming message.
The rapper compiled videos of the actress which he posted on Instagram on Wednesday, calling her his ‘darling mama Ibeji’.
Explaining why he celebrated his estranged wife, JJC Skillz, during an interview on TVC, laughed over the social media reactions to his birthday message to Funke.
According to the songwriter, with his experience of having several babymamas and growing up in England, the most important thing is the children.
Skillz stated that an individual needs to let go of the drama that comes with the breakup of a relationship and be grateful for everything.
He added that he and Funke shared a lovely relationship for seven years and he really loved her.
JJC’s words,
I think a lot of people are quite shocked to find out I’m human. To be honest growing up in England with my experience of having different baby mamas, the most important thing is the children, just focus on the children and let the drama go.
You know we have almost seven years of lovely relationship, so happy birthday to her, I wish her luck.
