Nigerian singer Palisico Ogunka, known as Sky B, has opened up about a troubling part of his music journey.
Naija News reports that he said once joined the Illuminati while chasing fame and success like top producer Don Jazzy.
The singer, famous for the song Ma Bebe, shared his story in a video that has gone viral online.
He said the move happened in 2007 when his career was rising and he wanted bigger achievements in the music world.
Sky B explained that he asked a friend to help him find contacts linked to the group.
The friend reached someone in the United Kingdom, who later connected him to people in the African unit.
After that, he went through an initiation process and was given items such as rings, necklaces, perfumes and a special cream to use, especially during stage shows.
He said things changed fast after joining.
According to him, money and fame came easily. He bought expensive cars, travelled outside Nigeria and enjoyed attention from fans and women.
He believed the items given to him helped attract wealth and success.
The artiste added that the cream contained strange materials mixed together and was meant to be rubbed on the body.
He claimed it caused his skin to glow and made people notice him wherever he went.
Meetings with members were often held late at night, and he said some of them could enter his room without opening doors or gates.
Sky B said he later became afraid when talks about human sacrifice began and family members were mentioned. That was when he decided he could no longer continue with the group.
Soon after, he said he was involved in three accidents within one month and nearly died. He said he believes the incidents were connected to his past involvement with the group.
The singer said he has lost everything he gained during that period but chose to speak out so others can learn from his experience.
