Touch a Widow’s life Program

A group of Southern California Women, led by Mrs. Jennifer Chinwe Ezeani moved by the painful plight of widows and orphans in Nigeria got together and decided to lend a helping hand… Without fanfare or ceremony these compassionate women- Chinwe Ezeani, Princess Ndidi Obi-Mbanugo, Oge Okpala, Ngozi Afonta, Amaka Okpala,Angela Ofomata, Mura Rissone, Caroline McKinley and Chy Udeh informally met and chipped it and sent all the funds they collected through their coordinators in Nigeria- Mrs. Nneka Ifeacho and the Parish Priest of St.Virgo Potens Catholic Church- Father Boris. The coordinators bought bags of rice, cartons of tomatoes, cartons of vegetable oil, cartons of soap etc and freely distributed to these overjoyed women. In an interview with the founder of the -“Touch a Widow’s Life Program”-Mrs. Jennifer Chinwe Ezeani she said she started this program because of the pain and suffering she has seen widows go through in Africa. She said the women in her informal group are committed to deploying all the resources they are able to raise periodically to helping widows and orphans.
