Quit notice: Sunday Igboho sends message to herdsmen, reveals next southwest state on his list

A report by The Nation indicates that Sunday Adeyemo popularly known as Sunday Igboho has declared Ogun state as his next destination to flush out criminal herdsmen in the southwest.

The Yoruba activist in a viral video stated that he has heard about the criminal activities of herdsmen in the state, adding that they should get ready for him.

He maintained that the remaining issues in Ogun state will be resolved.

According to him, his campaign against armed Fulani herdsmen in the southwest is that God wanted to liberate Ibarapa people from the captivity of herdsmen.

While lamenting that many politicians were attempting to discourage the struggle despite his genuine intentions, he warned them not to try and sabotage the fight against herdsmen in Yorubaland.

Legit.ng recalls that Igboho had dared the government of Oyo state to arrest him following his “leave” order to Fulani herders in Igangan community.

Addressing the people of Ibarapa East local government area of Oyo state in a video, Igboho described Governor Seyi Makinde’s directive that no one can be evicted from the state as a joke.

Sunday Igboho’s quit notice to herdsmen expires

Igboho, and his supporters arrived in Igangan, a town in Ibarapa North local government ar ea, Oyo state.

He was received by hundreds of youths at the Igangan Town Hall. The activist reportedly visited the town as the quit notice he issued to the herdsmen in the area expires on Friday, January 22.

 

Igboho had on Friday, January 15, visited the Fulani settlement in Igangan and gave them a seven-day ultimatum to leave the area.

Visit all southwest states Earlier, the Yoruba cultural activist declared that he would visit all the southwest states to issue quit notices to Fulani herdsmen.

Igboho who has been in the news for his order to the herdsmen in his native Oyo state to leave, said it will be extended to other southwest states.

Sunday Igboho warned Fulani herdsmen to keep off the southwest zone saying, enough is enough on the killing of Yoruba people.
