An old video making rounds online captures the popular crooner, Omoniyi Temidayo Raphael, known professionally as Zlatan Ibile before fame.
In the clip, which was recorded in black and white, Zlatan was seen with his friend as he spoke in Yoruba language.
In a loosed translation to English, he said:
“Wetin dey happen sef. Don’t you know I am street, don’t cross me. Hello everybody Happy Sunday, I’m in the street.”
The video appeared on a popular IG blog and subsequently got people talking.
While some commented on how poverty can negatively impact a person’s life, others gushed over the growth of the singer overtime.

In other news, Zlatan Ibile a few weeks ago opened up about his past and how he struggled before making it in music.
He also spoke about the huge role rapper Olamide and singer Davido played in changing his grass to grace story musically.
Zlatan Ibile started by revealing that he used the car he won from a music competition as a taxi. Speaking in a recent chat with media personality, Samuel Eni, the Zanku crooner said he had to use the car as a taxi because he couldn’t foot his bills or maintain the car.
Zlatan said after winning the car, it took him another four years to achieve career success after he was assisted by Olamide and Davido.
