Popular Nigerian Actress, Ini Edo, recently got her colleagues and fans talking after declaring herself the best actress in Africa, and best dressed at the AMVCA.
The 2023 Africa Magic Viewer’s Choice Awards (AMVCA) ended with a lot of controversy, one of which was Nollywood star, Osas Ighodaro’s win.
Osas emerged as Best Actress in Drama after being nominated alongside her colleagues, including Ini Edo, who many believe should have taken the award home following her remarkable performance in the Netflix Original series “Shanty Town.”
Ini Edo, in a new Instagram post, shared a stunning photo of herself at AMVCA, captioned the post;
“Best Actress and best dressed, argue with your keypads”
She made this declaration hours after Osas Ighodaro and BBNaija’s Beauty Tukura got awards for the best Actress and dressed category respectively.

Ini Edo wasn’t the only one who seemingly found Osas’ win questionable, her colleagues Destiny Etiko, Nancy Isime, Linda Osifo, Yvonne Jegede, others also believed that Ini Edo deserve the ‘best actress’ award.
