Recently, the news about the lady sleeping with dog for N1.7m shook the airwaves after a viral video showing her with the dog in the dastardly act, leaked.
Soon after, the video of the young lady who goes by the TiK ToK user ID, @Veegodess leaked, where she proudly claimed that bestiality was not a big deal. She went on to say in the video that even though she slept with a dog, she was not infected by any disease, contrary to what people thought.
Hear her: ‘What is the big deal there? I only slept with a dog, I didn’t kill somebody. You, in your life, you have done worse and besides, have you seen N1.7million before?’
‘As if it’s a big deal. And mind you I’m not infected or anything. Stop dying on the matter, I’m enjoying the money,” she stated in the first video.
Her utterances in the viral video made Nigerians condemn her massively for her act. This made her recant and claim that she was merely ‘catching cruise’ in the said video and didn’t mean her words.
She went ahead to post two more videos where she claimed that the first video was merely a prank and asked Nigerians to forgive her. She also went ahead to advise any lady sleeping with dogs to shun bestiality.
Her words: Guys I was just catching cruise. I didn’t sleep with any dog. My boyfriend just broke with me; help me to beg my boyfriend. I’m sorry for the video I made, it was purely cruise. I don’t advise someone to be with animals. It was just a prank video, just cruise; you guys know Nigerians and cruise. I apologize to the public, please take my apology.’
In reaction however the Nigerian Police Force Spokesman, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, stated that the criminal code act 1990 stipulates that any lady sleeping with dogs or any other animal has committed an offence.
He tweeted thus: ‘Criminal Code Act 1990.
214. Unnatural Offences: Any person who:
1) has carnal knowledge of any person against the order of nature; or
2) has carnal knowledge of an animal; or
3) permits a male person to have carnal knowledge of him or her against the order of nature;
Is guilty of felony and is liable to imprisonment for fourteen years.
Adejobi further stated: ‘Can you see this? Read it so that we tell them oh, because they all accept the dirty business. The law condemns it, our tradition condemns it, all the practicable religions condemn it, so what are we saying?
‘Part of our duties as a responsible institution is to educate our people, Nigerians on the do’s and don’ts as stipulated by our laws. That is why I have uploaded this portion of the law here’.
He further warned, not just the lady sleeping with dogs, but all other ladies in that line of business to desist from it, in order to avoid spreading strange illnesses in the country.
