Nigerians are torn between the ensued drama between Afrobeats star Davido and his Baby mama, Sophia Momodu on Instagram.
On Thursday evening, singer Davido took to his Instastories to correct the insinuation that he flew with Sophia, his first babymama, and their daughter, Imade, for a mini vacation in Ghana, last week.
This speculation was fuelled after both of them shared photos from the same private jet on same day with Davido’s caption reading ” a mini vacation with my daughter”.
In a post Davido made on his IG that sparked the controversy, the 30 Billion Gang boss disclosed he had a business engagement in Ghana as you are already aware that he performed at the just ended Afro Nation Festival in Ghana.
Davido cited that he could not allow Imade his daughter to be left behind in Nigeria whilst Sophia who was planning on a vacation trip to Ghana only come hence he gave them a lift in his private jet.
His comments infuriated Sophia which fueled an immediate reaction from her positing that she did not ask for a lift as Davido insinuated.
She also made it clear to Nigerians that she and their daughter fly first class or business class.
Still upset about her baby daddy’s post, Momodu took to Snapchat to write;
“I’m about to burn this whole shit down cos I neverrrrr asked for a lift”
