Nigerian skit creator Carter Efe has caused concern among fans with a mysterious message hinting that he may “leave this earth soon.”
He shared this post on his official Twitter account on January 7, 2025:
“Might leave this earth January 10th 💔.”
The alarming message triggered a range of responses from his supporters.
While some fans of Carter Efe thought it was just another comedic joke, others were truly concerned for his health.
Well-known Nigerian blogger Tunde Ednut advised people close to Carter Efe to check on him, suggesting that the post might not be a joke.
Tunde Ednut wrote;
“I don’t even know when to take Carter serious anymore. But in case this is not a joke, if you know him, please check up on him for us.”
Carter, whose real name is Odahohwo Joseph Efe, is popular for his comedic and sometimes divisive social media presence.
Although he has been criticized for his intense admiration for Nigerian music star Wizkid, he still enjoys a large following.
His latest post, however, raised concerns about his mental well-being, prompting some fans to wonder if he is experiencing difficulties.
