Nigerian music star Davido isn’t losing sleep over Sophia Momodu’s lawyer, as he’s spending quality time with his wife, Chioma, in Hawaii.
On his Instagram story, Davido shared clips from his vacation with Chioma, in Hawaii.
One photo captured them on their private jet as they arrived to the go-to vacation spot for many celebrities. In one video, the couple were spotted competing in zip-lining and in another, Chioma, who seems scared, was seen zip lining alone.
It is obvious the singer isn’t bothered by the N1 billion lawsuit filed by his babymama, Sophia Momodu’s lawyer.
Kemi Filani reported hours ago that Bella Chukwu, the attorney representing Sophia Momodu in her custody battle with Davido, had filed a suit against the singer for cyberbullying, defamation, harassment and threat to life. She is demanding that he publicly retract his defamatory statements on all his social media platforms, apologise, and stop his associates from harassing her and her family.
Earlier this year, during their vacation, Davido had lamented over his wife’s constant habit of eating his food. The singer said Chioma has been doing this to him for 13 years.
On Sunday, February 1st, Chioma made an appearance at the Grammys in Los Angeles with her husband, who was nominated for Best African Music Performance, which he unfortunately lost.
Following their appearance, the famous singer revealed how his wife encouraged him to attend the Grammys. According to him, he didn’t want to go because he was assured he would lose, but Chioma told him to go, noting that there is victory in humility and grace in defeat.
On Valentine’s Day, the father of five gifted his wife another Hermes crocodile bag, reportedly worth millions. Davido didn’t stop there; he also wrote a Valentine’s card for her, pouring out his feelings for his woman.
In a recent interview, he said these days he doesn’t go to the club and stays at home, sleeping on FaceTime with his wife.
While giving a speech at the party, Davido noted how he dropped his first song at 17, and now he is 33. He declared this year one of the best, noting that he had got married to the most beautiful woman and they had their babies.
Recall that on Sunday, August 10th, 2025, Davido and his wife, held their white wedding ceremony in Miami. The likes of Dangote, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, Obi Cubana and his wife, Dbanj and his wife, Uche Jombo, Zlatan and wife, and more were in attendance.
During an interview at her with bridal shower, Chioma said that, contrary to reports, Davido cares about dreams and was always asking what she wants to do.
In October, Davido and Chioma had sweetly celebrated their third wedding anniversary. The singer noted that it was one out of three anniversaries as he cheered on to forever with Chioma.
