Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly welcomed twins – a baby boy and girl via a surrogate mother.
According to media in Cristiano’s native Portugal – Portuguese television network SIC – the twins have been named Eva and Mateo.
The channel reported:
“MATEO AND EVA, THOSE ARE THE NAMES OF CRISTIANO RONALDO’S TWINS. THE BOY AND GIRL WERE BORN TO A SURROGATE MUM. IT’S A SECRET THAT CRISTIANO RONALDO HASN’T YET REVEALED TO THE REST OF THE WORLD.”
The newborn babies are said to have been born on Thursday 8 June.
Rumours that the footballer was expecting twins with a surrogate mother based in the USA began to circulate earlier this year.
Cristiano is already father to six year old son Cristiano Ronaldo Jr, whom he is rumoured to have had via surrogacy back in 2010.
Cristiano Jr’s mother has never been publicly revealed.
There’s no immediate official confirmation of the news from the footballer or his agents.
But several Portuguese websites and newspapers including leading Portuguese daily Correio da Manha were running the story,
