2017 Budget: Buhari set to address joint session of National Assembly

1914810_930777343681273_4101356702397884902_n-620x400In line with his promise to present the Appropriation Bill for the 2017 fiscal year in December, President Muhammadu Buhari, on Tuesday wrote to the Senate, seeking an audience with the joint session of the National Assembly.

Reading the letter on the floor of the Senate by its President, Bukola Saraki; President Buhari said the joint session was needed to officially brief the Legislators on, “the 2017 budget proposal and plans to get the country out of recession.”

The President shall be addressing the joint session of both the Senate and the House of Representatives on Wednesday, 14th December 2016 by 10:00 hours.
